Clubhouse Electrics fixed!

At long last the electrics in the clubhouse have been fixed. The fault was caused by a break in the wiring of the lighting circuit. Thanks are due to Jeff Brydon of Downley Dynamos for arranging for the detection and repair by his friend Kevin. This now means that all our 4 changing rooms and the referees' room are available for use. We still need to sort out the damage to the outlet pipes of the sinks and toilets that was caused by vandalism.

Welcome to 2 new players

We are pleased to welcome 2 new players to our Youth side. They are Rhydian Grange and Matthew Ramsden. They will be able to start playing for us on 23rd November and we wish them every success.
There are also 2 ex-Marlow players who wish to join us and they are in the process of being signed up. More details will follow when appropriate.

Hithercroft Youth Fold!

It is with sad regret that I have to report that Hithercroft Youth team has now disbanded and will take no further part in the South Bucks Youth League. We have been beset by many problems this season with lack of commitment by the majority of the players who have failed to turn up for games and training. Some have left the club, others have been released for bad behaviour on the field or for consistently failing to turn up, and the majority have refused to pay their subs despite numerous warnings. This has left us with no alternative but to bring the team to a close. We apologise to those newcomers who have just joined us (Daniel Birch, Rhydian Grange and Matthew Ramsden) and to Richard Vere and Kevin Ife who have paid their subs in full and always exhibited loyalty to the team. We hope that they will either find alternative clubs to play for or will rejoin next season's Youth team (which is this season's Under 16s). We wish to thank the South Bucks Youth League Committee for their support over this current season and apologise to them and the other Division 4 clubs that we have played against for the inconvenience that this will have caused. We wish them luck for the remainder of the season.

Totteridge win Youth League Divn 3 title

We congratulate Totteridge on their achievement. We are particularly pleased in that their squad included some ex-Hithercroft players (ie Jason Guy, Riccardo Falconi, Shane Globe, Matt Seaton and Laurence Dunn).

New coach for next season's Youth team

A new coach has been appointed to assist in the training of next season's Youth team. Brian Lewis has coaching experience for both Youth and Men's teams and should be a great asset to the club.
